Welcome

For a bit more about me, see this APA interview.

I'm a substitute assistant professor at Baruch College (CUNY) in New York City, working on topics in the history of philosophy, the philosophy of mind, and the philosophy of technology (especially AI). I previously worked as a visiting scientist and post-doc at NYUs Center for Data Science in Yann LeCun's lab, where I worked on the philosophy of AI under some fellowships from the Berggruen Institute and Templeton World Charity Foundation. Before that, I wrote my dissertation under Zed Adams, Jay Bernstein, and Richard Bernstein at the New School. I'm originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico (as seen in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul).

I'm also super lucky to have an awesome wife, Cat Frizell. She's the smart one, working in the court system in service to the community. I'm super proud of her. We also have an awesome rescue dog, Mishka. She's a mess.
